Headquartered in New
Milford, Connecticut, and established in 1955 (re-launched with the new name in
1981), the Association has grown to represent more than 4,400 members worldwide
in all aspects of the fast-growing wedding industry. A membership service
organization, the purpose of ABC is to increase awareness of the wedding
business and to raise the levels of education and professionalism among its
members, encouraging the practice of the highest standards and ethical conduct
by its members, and to encourage brides to work with a trained and dedicated
professional. At once both local and international, the ABC has the credibility
and longevity to benefit its members and the industry.
